As Crimond got off to a sunny start for our season opener, we had 21 young ministox racers provide the thrill and spills in a healthy field of cars with a few new local drivers starting there ministox carers. Jodie Gordon Auchnagatt, the Maver sisters and Billie Dawson proving that the next generation of drivers are up and coming.

Robbie Dawson, Ally Strachan and David Barrack won all three races in the F2's, Saloonstox and Road Going Saloons proving to be early season pacesetters. Crimond's local classes the Road Goings and Hot Saloons suffered from poor numbers with drivers still working on their cars preparing for the season ahead, numbers are set to increase for the 2nd meeting with many drivers known to have cars almost ready.

The Bangers stole the show yesterday racing for the Nick Greaves memorial trophy being won by Joe Yeats leading from start to finish. Race 2 saw the bangers living up to there name with action all over the track and plenty hard hits going in much to the delight of the fans promising for more next meeting.

Our next meeting on the 22nd April will see plenty of visiting drivers with it being a national points meeting for the Saloons and BRISCA F2 World Qualifier
